Why should I register my domain name with Evolution Design?

When you register with Evolution Design, you will always own your domain name and have access to it. Many companies offer domain registration. They charge you a fee, do the registration for you but you may not own that name if you decide to leave that company. This is a common practice and if you want your name, you may have to pay a very large fee to get it. We will never own YOUR domain name. It is yours as long as you want it. If for some reason you decide to go elsewhere, you can rest assured that your domain name is yours to take with you.

What is Hosting and do I need it?

Hosting is simply space reserved on a secure server where your website files are stored. This makes the files accessible to the world wide web. Every website must be hosted for those files to be viewed.

There are advantages to an Evolution Design hosted website. We guarantee 99.9 % up time. Unless your site is undergoing your updates and scheduled maintenance, it will be up. In the unlikely case that our servers were to be down for upgrades or service you would be notified. Our prices are affordable and you will never be oversold. We will recommend the plan based on your needs. In most cases our least expensive plan will work. Just like your domain name, the hosting is also registered to you. There are no contracts or obligations.
